17s
end AAU D-1 National Championship tournament with an appearance
in the Elite 8 of the National Classic bracket and a 5-3 mark in
the tournament, with an overall AAU record of 9-5 against the
best competition in the country! Finished the July exposure and
evaluation period with a 16-7 record against elite teams and a
Silver bracket quarter-final appearance at the AAU Super
Showcase. Great job guys!

16s make it to the semi-finals
of the Copper bracket at the AAU Super Showcase in the Disney
WWS complex in Lake Buena Vista, FL, finishing with an overall
3-4 record against elite, national competition.

Team (Rock Hill, SC) who went undefeated in capturing the
championship of the Sun Belt Rentals invitational tournament.
20Mar2011 - 17s TAKE AAU SUPER REGIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP
The Boys 17u
Gold team went undefeated in capturing the championship with a
92-89 victory over Team Charlotte in the 2011 AAU Super Regional
held March 18-20 at Carolina Courts in Indian Trail, NC, earning
a bid to the 2011 AAU D1 National Championship in Lake Buena
Vista, FL in July.
The Boys 15u team also did well finishing in the Top 4 and
earning a bid to the 2011 AAU D2 National Championship
tournament. Great job guys.

TITLE GAME
The Boys 16u
Gold team made it to the championship game of the
Bronze bracket at the AAU Super
Showcase in Lake Buena Vista, FL, losing by 3 to All Ohio.
The team medaled for the 2nd year in a row, finished with a
tournament record of 5-3 and an overall record of 36-10.

Congratulations to the Boys 16u
Gold team in claming the Silver bracket Championship in the Hoop
Group West Va. Jam Fest Showcase in Morgantown, WVa. Team
finished the tournament 6-1 to claim the title in a field of 84
teams from the U.S. and Canada.

ADVANCE IN AAU PLAY
Both 16u teams had good showings over the weekend.
The Black team finished 2nd in AAU D2 Pools and advanced to next
weekend's State Championship bracket. The Gold team
knocked off the defending D1 State champs in route to a 3rd
place overall finish in the AAU D1 State Championship
tournament, while qualifying for Nationals.
The 13u Boys finished the weekend 3-1 with a
semifinal appearance in the USBA Sun Belt Rentals tournament.

and 17s HAVE GOOD SHOWING AT HOOPGROUP WVA JAMFEST

WVa Hoopfest Update -
15s tied for first but were relegated to 3rd place in
Pool and consolation bracket due to point differential.
17s (DC) were 2.3 secs and 1 point away from a Silver
bracket appearance. Two missed FTs changed the entire
course of the tournament. Battled hard against DC
Assault and were within single digits late in the game,
only to run out of gas.

After a slow start in Pool Play last week, the 17u Gold
team rallied to make it to the Elite 8 of the AAU D1 17u
State Championship tourney, losing in OT to prevent a
possible Top 5 finish. They were joined in the
State Championship round by the 17u Black and 16u Gold
teams which advanced to 17u D2 States and the 15u and
13u Gold teams which also advanced to their state
tournaments respectively.

to eventual champion Ga Stars. The 15s won their
pool by going undefeated, but fell short in the

taking 1st and 2nd place respectively in weekend
tourneys. The Gold team went undefeated playing up in the

2nd place in the USBA Carolina Courts Invitational.

during tryouts. Congratulations to 17u Purple team
member Jeff Felton leading the pack with a 69.08
score and 16u Guard Brandon Glenn finishing
second with 62.40. Jeff blew away the field with a
33.50 vertical.

Reaction and Quickness, five of the
essential tools for superior athletic performance.

Carolina Coaches Association. He also played in the

part of the Club's dedication to preparing its players
for the next level, Storm team members and coaching
staff were invited to attend game at Presbyterian
College, a newly established D-1 basketball program to
see the full spectrum of the college "ballers"
experience.
  
Storm Elite Players visit UGa Campus

and 15u Exposure Team members and coaching staff invited to
University of Georgia for unofficial visit, tour of $30 Million
dollar training facility and to watch a game. Storm
players met with UGa coaches and heard presentation on
requirements of big time Division 1 basketball from the 2008 SEC
