Partners with Velocity to offer Sports Performance

| The Club has reached an agreement with Velocity Sports Performance to integrate their training program into the Club's overall strategy to develop "next-level" athletes. The professionals at Velocity will create a comprehensive program for Club players to enhance on-court performance in connection with the Club's scheduled practices. |

Balance to sponsor Club in 2008 |

| The Club has reached an agreement with national shoe company New Balance for sponsorship during the 2008 season. Storm Coaches and players will wear the NB logo on team shoes and equipment and have access to the NB Team Sports product line. The Club will also help promote the NB Elite Grade School Combine. |

rise to national elite with 3rd place finish at YBOA

The "little brothers" proved
they belong with a national semi-finalist, 3rd place
finish at the
YBOA National Championship
tournament in Lakeland, FL. The team had only one
loss to the eventual national champs.
This is the 3rd "Top 3" finish for the Club in the "open" division at YBOA Nationals in the last two seasons, proving we are among the nation's best. In individual honors, Kyle Horton was named to the National "all-tournament" team (picture right). |

| Congratulations to the Boys 16u team for winning their pool, highlighted by a 20+ point win over the Nike sponsored Alabama Lasers and 11 point win over Nike sponsored Team Florida, and advancing to the "Gold" bracket for the top 16 teams in the AAU 16u Super Showcase event at Disney's WWS Complex in Orlando, FL. They are the first Storm team to ever receive an invitation to play in the prestigious event, giving our players an opportunity to showcase their skills in front of college programs from around the county. |

Gold finishes 2nd at YBOA National Championship |

The Boys 13u Gold exceeded
last season's 3rd place national finish to capture the
National Runner-Up spot in the 2007
YBOA National
Championship tournament in Lakeland, FL. The team
fell one game short of a perfect 2007 season in YBOA
competition by losing in the National Title game.
In individual honors, Rod Hampton, Dominique Williams and Sean Anthony were named to the "all-tournament" team with Sean Anthony picking up the "Hustle Award". Ivan Lowe won the national Free-Throw competition and Dominique Williams took home the national "Hot Spot" title. Great job again guys!

| The Boys 16u team has accepted an invitation to play in the AAU Super Showcase at the Disney Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, FL. This is an invitation only event for the top 72 teams in the country. |

Congratulations to the Boys
17u and 9u Black teams for finishing 2nd in the USSSA
State Championship tournament in Greensboro, NC.
The 17s finish USSSA competition for 2007 with an almost perfect 14-1 record and the top ranking in the D2 National, State and NC Coach's Polls. The first Storm team ever to accomplish this feat. Great job guys! For the 9u Black team, it was almost their 2nd consecutive State Championship after capturing the YBOA title earlier in the season. Congratulations also to Matthew Milovic of the Boys 12u team for capturing the 3-Point State Championship! Matthew is on the first row, far right in the picture below and inset to the right.

Gold and 17u Black team claim tournament titles |

Congratulations to the Boys
17u Black and 13u Gold teams for taking the USSSA NIT
and YBOA Eastern regional titles respectively. The
17u Black team earned a bid to the 2007 USSSA National
Championship tournament in Ft. Wayne, IN by going
undefeated through the NIT field in Greensboro, NC. The 13u Gold team took on the top teams on the East Coast while in Virginia Beach, VA in the YBOA Eastern Regional Invitational, going undefeated again and claiming "all-tournament" (Shawn Anthony) and "Tournament MVP" honors (J.J. Jones). |

Storm" gathers in Hickory, NC as three Club teams
capture YBOA State Championship titles |

Congratulations to the Boys
9u Black, 10u, 13u Gold and 13u Black teams as they
dominated the competition, taking all the top spots in
the NC YBOA State Championship tournament in Hickory,
NC. The 9u Black, 10u and 13u Gold teams
captured the State Titles with the 13u Black team
securing 2nd in the State and all four were awarded bids
to the YBOA National Championship in Orlando, FL. The 13u Gold team completed the "3-Peat", winning their third consecutive YBOA State Championship (2005,2006,2007) and going undefeated in Regional and State competition during that time. |

9u Black 2nd. Teams now move on to the State
tournament to add some additional hardware to the
Club's collection.
Boys 13u Purple capture their first title of the season by taking the USBA Mike Minter Invitational championship, with the Boys 15u Black team falling short in the title game to secure 2nd.
