| Congratulations to the "little brothers" of the Boys 10u Black team for their top 10 finish in AAU D2 Nationals in Cocoa Beach, FL. Coming off their 2nd place national finish at USBA, the team swept their Pool and ultimately claimed a medal, 2009 automatic bid and 7th place national finish. | |

Congratulations to the Boys
14u Gold team which went 7-0 in capturing the 2008 USBA National
Title in Myrtle Beach, SC. It's their
1st national crown and 3rd one for the Club in 5 years.
Congratulations also to the Boys 10u Black team which claimed the National Runner-Up spot, losing only once by falling short in the title game. Both teams now set their sites for the AAU National tournament in FL and a chance for another crown. |

| 16u Gold squad ready to take on nation's elite teams at Disney Sports Complex later this month. Club one of only four North Carolina teams to participate in prestigious event. See team list. In 2007, the 16u team won their pool, advanced to the Gold bracket and finished in the Top 16. | |

| Congratulations to Ivan Lowe of the Boys 14u Gold team in winning the National 3-PT crown during the USBA National Championship Tournament in Myrtle Beach, SC. Lowe made 11 "3s" in one minute to take the title. |

Congratulations to the Boys
16u Black team for taking the top spot in the "Lake
Norman Shootout", where they faced the Storm 16u Purple
team in the Championship game. The 14u Boys also took the top spot in their division, going undefeated in their final tune-up before AAU Nationals.

Congratulations again to the
Boys 10u Black team in taking the YBOA D-1 State crown
and repeating as champs, going "back-2-back", winning in
'07 and '08. The "little brothers" followed
in the footsteps of the 14u Gold team in winning
consecutive titles, giving the Club their first set of
repeat champions and 4th year in a row with State
Champions in multiple age groups! Congratulations also to the strong finish of the Boys 16u Purple (7th - D1), 15u Black (4th - D2) and 11u (4th - D1) teams in the YBOA State championship tournament. |

10u Black team for their performance at the CC1st
Mother's Day tournament in Charlotte, NC in which the
team captured the championship. The "little brothers" look to continue their winning ways in capturing their 2nd consecutive YBOA State Championship next week. |

Congratulations to the Boys
14u Gold team for winning their 4th consecutive YBOA D-1
State Championship. The team went unbeaten
in regional and state competition for the third year in
a row to capture the "4-peat", also taking the state
title in '05, '06, and '07. Also in YBOA action, the 15u Gold team qualified for Nationals in Orlando, FL with a 6th place finish. In AAU action, the Boys 16u Gold team went 3-0 in D-1 Pool play in Raleigh, NC to continue their winning ways. The team is now 9-1 in AAU State competition. They will be joined in the playoffs by the 16u Black team which advanced to D2 States. |

Congratulations to the Boys
16u Gold team for their 2nd place finish in the AAU 17D2
State Championship in Charlotte. While playing
"up" in age, the team finished Pool and Bracket play
with a 6-1 record, losing only in the Championship game
and earning a bid to the 17D2 AAU National Championship
tournament in Orlando, FL.
The team is joined by the Storm 10s (3rd D2) and 14s (5th D1) in placing in the State Championship tournament. In total, the Club has picked up 10 AAU National bids so far in 2008. |

Storm teams did well in AAU
Pool Play and YBOA Regional qualifiers. Boys 15u
Gold and 14u Gold team won the YBOA Western Regional
Championships. Boys 16u Purple team finished 2nd
in the region and the 9u Boys captured the "Kickoff
Classic" title in Burke County. In AAU play, all teams advanced to the State Championship with the Boys 16u team going undefeated while playing up in the 17u D2 tournament. |

| AAU has extended a bid to the Boys 16u and 17u teams to attend the 2008 Super Showcase event, annually held at the Disney Wide World of Sports Complex in Lake Buena Vista, FL. In 2007, the 16u team won their pool and advanced to the Gold bracket for the top 16 teams in the event. |

|
| Congratulations to the Boys 10u Black for taking 1st place in the opening round of their title defense in the YBOA Western Regional in Forest City, NC. The Boys 11u team, also the defending State Champs, looked strong finishing 3rd. Both teams set their sites to the State Tournament in May. Great job guys! |

| Congratulations to the Boys 14u Gold team for securing a bid to the AAU D1 National Championship with their 2nd place finish in the Raleigh AAU Super Regional. The 16u Boys also performed well and secured a bid to the AAU D2 National Championship. |

| The Club has reached an agreement with Velocity Sports Performance to integrate their training program into the Club's overall strategy to develop "next-level" athletes. The professionals at Velocity will create a comprehensive program for Club players to enhance on-court performance in connection with the Club's scheduled practices. | |

|
|
| The Club has reached an agreement with national shoe company New Balance for sponsorship during the 2008 season. Storm Coaches and players will wear the NB logo on team shoes and equipment and have access to the NB Team Sports product line. The Club will also help promote the NB Elite Grade School Combine. |
