1/7/05 - The Club
will be hosting a Shooting Skills Clinic with NBA Scout and
Winning Ways President Barry Mestel at James Martin Middle School.
Session 1 will be held on Saturday, Jan. 15th from 7-9pm, with Session
2 and 3 on Sunday, Jan. 16th at 2pm and 4pm respectively. To

Cost is $25.00. Open to all age groups, Boys and Girls.

A "Getting to the Next Level" seminar
will be held on Monday, Jan. 17th at the Highland Creek Prosperity
Park Clubhouse, 5701 Fairvista Dr.,
from 2pm-6pm. The session is free, but reserved for high school
aged players only. Space is limited. To register, call

9/14/04 - The Club
announced today it has reached an agreement with "Winning
Ways Basketball" of Altamonte Springs, FL as an
official
partner in the Carolinas, promoting all their programs in the
Mid-Atlantic region. "Winning Ways", founded by NBA
scout Barry Mestel,
provides "next level" training, clinics and exposure camps. The
Club, through its affiliation with "Winning Ways" will promote "Reebok
Grassroots Basketball", and also offer products and services for
Baden Basketball and
Gatorade.

3/8/04 - The Club
has announced plans to form a 9u Boys team for the 2004 season.
Tryouts will be held over the next couple of weeks. |

2/29/04 - The Club
is planning a "Big Man's" basketball camp this summer with
former high school all-american, Villanova center and Professional
player Tom Greis, present coach of the Charlotte Storm 17u team.
The camp will be open to any players desiring to improve their
"inside" game, but designed exclusively for "centers" and "power
forwards". If interested, contact Club President Willie

camp and registration information to be announced. |

2/26/04 - "Battle of the
Carolinas" tournament has been canceled due to inclement weather! |

|
2/25/04 - Coca-Cola
of Charlotte has become the second sponsor of the Club and will be
supplying Coke products at Charlotte Storm hosted tournaments during
the 2004 season! Our thanks to the folks at Coca-Cola for their
support of our youth sports program. |

2/20/04 - Leslie
Quinn, former Ashbrook (Gastonia) High School and Wake Forest
University player joins coaching staff to coach Girls 10u team. |

2/10/04 - The Club
has announced plans to form a "national" team for the Boys 16u age group called
the "Select".
Tryouts will be by invitation only or upon recommendation of H.S. coach or
other qualified individuals. Extensive travel and additional practice
time may be required depending upon tournament schedule. Program
designed for players presently being recruited and those possessing the
skills to potentially play at the D-I or D-II level.
